Lawrence Neighbors Together, which is a coalition of Lawrence organizations and individuals who are committed to mutual respect, compassion and justice, will have a booth. Usborne Books and More, which is a children’s book publisher, and Boo Bear Books, which also offers children’s books, each signed up for a booth. Mercer’s Best Toastmasters Club, which is a public speaking and leadership development organization, and the WorkWell Partnership, which provides job training for ex-offenders, will set up informational booths. The Lawrence High School Students Helping Honduras club, which raises money to build schools in Honduras, plans to have an informational booth. Womanspace Inc., which helps victims of domestic and sexual violence, will have a booth. The Lawrence Township Junior Baseball/Softball Association, the Lawrence Lacrosse Club and the Lawrence Junior Cardinals Football and Cheer groups expect to set up shop. Nonprofit groups, such as the Lawrence Township chapter of the League of Women Voters, the Lawrence Township Education Foundation, the Lawrence Historical Society and Lawrenceville Main Street, will set up booths during the event. There will be entertainment for children, including a zipline, face painting, wagon rides, touch-a-truck, inflatables such as a bounce house, and an animal show by the Lizard Guy, officials said. More than 80 vendors have signed up for Community Day.
